Giving Opportunities
Gifts in Honor or Memory
Community Alliance is grateful to accept memorial and honorarium gifts cherishing the people most important to you. Your gift can be made in memory of a deceased family member or friend or in honor of a special day—a birthday, anniversary or other memorable occasion.
Your donation to honor the memory of a deceased loved one will be acknowledged to family members and an honorarium contribution acknowledgement will be sent to the individual being remembered. If you would like to ensure that a specific individual is notified of the donation, indicate who the donation is for and who you want the acknowledgment sent to, providing that person's address. *Please note: your charitable gift to Community Alliance is tax deductible.
Sponsorships
Community Alliance has many opportunities for corporations, small businesses, and individuals to partner with us. These partnerships offer valuable exposure to our stakeholders. We offer the following sponsorship opportunities throughout the year:
- Annual Meeting Sponsorships

Chow Down for Change
Individuals and Groups
Community Alliance would like to invite you to participate with us once a month in our Chow Down for Change program. It is easy! You can be a contributor to Community Alliance by dining with us monthly at our featured restaurant.
We keep it simple. Our "chef-of-the-month" does all of the cooking, and the restaurant staff does the serving and cleanup! And we sit back and enjoy a great meal! We will provide you with a percentage-off coupon for you to present at the time of payment. Community Alliance will receive a percentage of the sales for that particular day.
If you are an individual who would like to join us for a sumptuous meal, please click here to find a coupon for our next event.
Restaurant Partners
Community Alliance would like to invite you to participate with us in our Chow Down for Change program. If you are a local restaurateur, we will be happy to partner with you to promote your establishment and raise funds for our always important Dental Day.
It's easy. You do the cooking and we do the rest! We advertise the event to all of our supporters and the local community. In addition, we design and distribute a percentage-off coupon. Our guests present the coupon at the time of payment. We receive a percentage of the total sales for that particular day. Normally our Chow Down Partners donate between 10-25% of the sales. Click here to print our signup form.
Thanks to our 2010 Partners!

Monthly Giving
Hope, Help ... Right Here
In 2009, the state of Michigan cut a $14 per month supplement that our clients received to help with their basic needs. While $14 may not seem like a lot to many of us, it was devastating to those in need. Without the supplement, many of our clients struggle to buy items that most of us take for granted every day, like toilet paper, laundry detergent, and toothpaste. By joining our monthly giving circle you can help supply our clients with these badly needed items. If you would like to help Community Alliance clients purchase personal care items they would otherwise not be able to afford please consider the following:
$14 per month helps one Community Alliance Client
$28 per month helps two Community Alliance Clients
$56 per month helps four Community Alliance Clients
$70 per month helps five Community Alliance Clients
$98 per month helps seven Community Alliance Clients.
Community Alliance is proud to have partnered with Ann Arbor Radio's WTKA to raise funds for our clients.

Planned Giving
Flexible and creative gift plans create opportunities for both our donors and Community Alliance. Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are many options from which you can choose. The correct plan for you balances what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans. For more information or to make a gift please contact Kate MacEwen, Vice President of Development and External Relations, at 734-544-8491 or via email at kmacewen@communityalliance.com.
